Ok y’all. This Orange Beach photo shoot…
It was SO. MUCH. FUN! Sarah contacted me saying she would be getting married in the coming weeks and they would be honeymooning in Orange Beach, Alabama. Now let’s stop right there. If you aren’t from around here or maybe just haven’t had the chance to visit, let me go ahead and brag about our beaches. They are paradise! We have sugary-white soft sand, warm salty water, and as you will see below, absolutely INCREDIBLE sunsets! Especially in October. Oh my word. I could just camp out on the beach for the whole month soaking in the autumn light that splashes across the waves and creates such magnificent displays of spectacular color in the skies every evening. But, this post isn’t about our awesome beaches (that you should visit without delay). It’s about some serious love between these two who allowed me to spend an afternoon with them capturing this once in a lifetime moment in their relationship. Now, I am always hesitant about “couples boudoir.” I mean, let’s be real, that term can describe a range of different types of imagery that yours truly is neither comfortable with nor willing to create. But Sarah sent me a few sample images from ol’ Pinterest and the moment I saw them, I knew we were a match made in beachy boudoir heaven. She wanted romantic, beautiful images that really captured the emotional connection between husband and wife. I was thrilled and honored to document just a sliver of this time in their lives. It’s just straight up fun to be around a newlywed couple, especially when they are as nice and welcoming as Sarah + Caleb. Enjoy my take on a couples boudoir session!
