Victoria Taylor, I don’t even know where to start with you guys. I don’t know how to tell the internet how amazing you are, how beautiful you were, how all this crazy rain didn’t make a hill of beans when it came to what was important on your special day! From your First Look when Nick was whispering to you such precious things, to your Ceremony when your entire wedding party stood by your sides and guests sat perfectly happy under dripping umbrellas as you said your vows, to the way you looked like NOT A DROP had touched your face (how?! it was amazing!) when we went straight into those magical rainy portraits afterward… It was incredible. I am so thankful I got to witness every minute! Enjoy this sneak peek of a few favorites!
So as a bride, what would you do if it rained cats and dogs on your wedding day? I want to leave you guys with a quote from Victoria. This is the perspective she had all day, and it brought me to tears to see how full of joy she was to be getting married, rain or shine, to her best friend. She said, “Since the day we got engaged we prayed for 2 things: beautiful weather and that the presence of God would be at our ceremony for everyone to feel. It may have rained, but it made it more sweeter, emotional, and intimate. To us, this showed us His presence was pouring blessings on us. We had such a powerful communion time where we were overtaken by His presence. He showed up in a mighty and amazing way! To us, our wedding was even more perfect than we could have ever imagined!”
