All the beautiful natural light at St Francis at the Point and the cozy warmth of the Wash House Restaurant in Point Clear were the backdrops for this wedding.
This may be one of the longer posts on this little blog. I’ve been blessed with some incredible weddings throughout my years as a photographer. Some of them more casual, some of them more formal, some so beautifully planned down to the very last detail – and ALL of them unique and special. For each one, it’s a privilege to be a part in a small way of a couple’s dream day, to offer these tangible memories that they can cherish for the rest of their lives.
Not only them, but their families, and their children, and their grandchildren too.
But this year, it seems like I am more on the receiving end than ever of the blessing. This precious couple, Micah + Chris, allowed me to capture more than a wedding day. They allowed me to witness their coming together in a covenant, in worship to God, and I was so refreshed by their sweet desire to glorify Him in their vows and throughout the day. Even when things when wiry at the start (it wouldn’t be a wedding day without a few surprises and kinks!) there was a beautiful sense of peace and love that just clothed the entire day with sweetness. Enjoy this sneak peek from Micah and Chris’ wedding day!
