This engagement session makes me so happy. Like silly, smiley, giggly, teary, sighing, crazy happy.
Part of all that happiness is definitely due to the way God made October light illuminate the world like nothing else.
Another part is the way this couple drove all over Baldwin County on a Thursday afternoon so we could go shoot in random places I’ve had my eye on.
But the biggest part is that I have known this woman for 20+ years, and she has been my friend all that time. We’ve been through the big-hair era (side note, true story: one time, for punishment instead of being grounded, her parents took away her hair spray), being captain & co-captain of the cheer squad, church youth camps, growing into adulthood, living, loving, changing in some ways, staying the same in others... so.much.LAUGHTER. And now, I am so HAPPY because she has found the one her heart loves. And this makes my heart swell.
Introducing Rachel and Garrett. A rustic-glam engagement session in Fairhope, Alabama. Because these two can get down and dirty at the huntin’ camp in the mornin’ and be at a formal dinner sippin' champagne at 6pm same day. They speak each others’ language (which is serious business learning how to speak Rachenese) and they are perfect for each other. A match truly made in heaven. I LOVE Y'ALL!
