Maria and Robert… They know how to throw a party! This entire day was so much fun! At our first meeting, I could tell these two are so in love! They welcomed me like one of the family and were so kind. I knew the wedding was going to be epic when Maria mentioned that “Crazy Hour” would commence at 9:00pm, complete with all kinds of hats, glasses, and props for her guests to enjoy. Also she mentioned that some of her family members were actually Flamenco dancers, and I immediately secretly (no, actually quite loudly!) wished that I would get to witness a Flamenco treat! My husband and I have had the joy of attending a few Flamenco performances over in Spain, and nothing is quite as passionate, emotional, and moving to me in the world of dance! And as you will see, my hopes were rewarded! Maria and Robert just wanted everyone to enjoy the day as much as possible, and they had a celebration that will always be remembered by their family and dear friends.
Maria started her day at Nouveau Salon getting pampered with her girls, then saw Robert for the first time at their reception site, the unique Mobile Museum of Art. The ceremony (and rehearsal dinner I got to photograph for them the night before) took place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Congrats Robert and Maria! Thank you so much!
